About
Para Football World is an independent archive of para football: the goals, saves, penalties and trophy lifts from matches all over the world, each one timed to the second in the original broadcast.
Why it exists
Para football is streamed more than ever. Federations, clubs, broadcasters and volunteers put full matches online, but they are hours long, and the moment you want is somewhere inside. A player's best goal, a famous save, a final won on penalties - finding it usually means scrubbing through a stream and hoping.
This archive does that work once, so nobody has to do it again. Every moment links straight to the second it happens, under the name of the player and the country or club they played for.
Who made it
Para Football World was created by Andrew Palmer. Andrew has been involved in para football for over 20 years, with careers in journalism, charity work, e-commerce and media.
What's in it
Cerebral palsy football, powerchair football, blind football, partially sighted futsal, amputee football, and deaf football and futsal, for men and women. It's open to every nation, and the archive grows as people add the matches and moments they know.
Whose footage it is
We don't host any video. Every match and moment plays from the original stream on YouTube, published by the broadcaster, federation or club that filmed it, and every page credits and links back to them. If you share a moment, the views go to the people who made the footage.
If you publish one of these streams and would like something changed or removed, email hello@parafootballworld.com and we'll act on it promptly.
How we keep it accurate
- Names are never guessed. A scorer is only named from an official match report or by someone who was there. A moment with no name says so plainly rather than inventing one.
- Every moment says how sure we are. "Confirmed" means it has been checked against an official report. "Unconfirmed" means it hasn't been checked yet.
- Contributions come from named members. To add or correct anything you need an account with a confirmed email. Your public username appears next to what you add, so every contribution can be traced.
- The community checks each other. Members can agree or disagree with a contribution. Ones that enough people disagree with are hidden until they're reviewed, and accounts that add false information are blocked.
Players
If you're a player and something about you is wrong, or you'd rather a moment or your name wasn't listed, tell us at hello@parafootballworld.com. And if you know where your own goals are, you're the best person to add them.
Get involved
Most matches in the archive still have nothing tagged. If you watched one, played in one or filmed one, add a moment. It takes about a minute.
